Information Networks Note: The following provides a suggested course description, objectives, and an outline. These may be modified pending discussion with the Faculty Chairs, proposing faculty, and other curriculum reviewers. Course Description: Examines security issues arising in computer networks. Considers node and service authentication, address spoofing, hijacking, sniffing, and routing tricks; also considers intrusion detection and counter measures, and hardening of operating systems.
