NCSC-6811 Simulation and Modeling (ST
731) Note: The following provides a suggested course description, objectives, and an outline. These may be modified pending discussion with the Faculty Chairs, proposing faculty, and other curriculum reviewers. Course Description: Abstraction for creating models is discussed. Simulation of processes, discrete event scheduling, process interaction, and continuous modeling techniques are explored. Probability and statistics related to simulation parameters including run length, inference, design of experiments, variance reduction and stopping rules.
